Ketan Kamdar
Background
Ketan graduated from University with an Honours degree in Accountancy. He spent two years working at NatWest Investments as a tax trainee for their high net worth clients and then moved on to BDO Stoy Hayward as a member of their private client team.
He qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2000 but he pursued his career in taxation and qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2001. He spent 11 years at BDO as a tax trainee right through to a senior tax manager. Ketan managed the private client tax team at their Gatwick office, which included 10 staff and client fees in excess of £1m.
Due to corporate changes within BDO, Ketan explored his options to seek a firm which would provide him the chance to use his tax knowledge and client service skills to work on client affairs, instead of dealing with mere administration work. Kings Mill Partnership offered him this opportunity.
Ketan joined Kings Mill in 2009 as a tax consultant and has proved to be a valuable asset to the company; he was duly appointed tax partner in April 2011.
